Props, Cosplay, Art, & Pinball

  • Building a new direction

    Pinball expo day 1

I’m trying to build this website out as quickly as possible. We spent the past 3 weeks in crunch trying to get our fan design of Kirby ready to bring to expo. I wanted to share my passion for Kirby with the world and I’m so glad I made it there. This will get developed soon after Expo with all of our work and info so please be patient.

If you want to follow along with my building and progress of Kirby you can visit my YouTube channel. I started this project 6 months ago and I show here my process for building it so far. If you visited at Pinball Expo you can see my fan made game here on YouTube.

We started building cosplay and props years back and we were doing amazing work really quickly. What we did for ourselves for cosplay people asked if they could buy our creations. We learned to 3D model, 3D print, finish those prints but for us that wasn’t good enough. We learned to molding and cast our finished creations to make some amazing realistic recreations of comic, video game, and horror props and weapons.

I started restoring arcade games and shared my journey on tiktok for years, finding friends, finding some laughs, and finding a new passion. After our studio flooded and we lost almost everything we found an old pinball machine at an estate sale for cheap. I tried to learn how to restore and get that working like new and shared that journey. I’ve always been fascinated with the mechanics behind pinball. Then I found another project and did it again and again.

Soon enough we were both loving pinball and going to Pinball Expo here in Chicago. Then Midwest Gaming Classic. Instead of going to comic conventions we found ourselves going to pinball conventions.

I found myself learning more and more about pinball history, mechanics, engineering, and the physics of the game. I just love to learn new things and to me nothing is out of reach or not possible, as long as you keep trying. Failure is just a lesson you can turn into your next success if you truly learned something.

So as we build out this little business again I hope that I can both contribute to the homebrew community and to the world of pinball as a whole. I hope I can inspire new generations to love pinball or get into homebrew.
